The Stache

I have always wondered about this blog business and never knew what to write about. So I will address many issues. Today we will brush upon facial hair. Quite frankly, I don't think most people will find hair attractive unless it is on the head of a woman or a man. On the other hand, many come to appreciate it when it grows on the face of a man. But what happens when it is on the face of a woman? Ahhhhh, may be your initial reaction. However, once you "Look Inside", only after resisting against any romantic desires to kiss a woman with protein strands growing on her upper lip, will you find that every moustache has a tale. It grows for a reason. Share yours. If you do nothing at all, pluck, wax, thread or shave, let me know why. Sometimes, I pluck my feminine stache because it conflicts with my notion of beauty. Other times I let it grow to give myself a laugh! HA!

Here is a man who explains why he shaved his facial hair, Mr. John Oates.

Here is a video to all the people who are growing moustaches .

Here is a homemade video of a man who changes his moustache to influence change in his personal life. Enjoy!

  1. Great subject Amani! It's tough not to follow what our society has determined is beauty. I too fall victim to the waxing cycle but sometimes I just want to say....Meh to facial hair..facial hair, schmacial hair! I think Indie Arie had it dead on when she wrote "Video": "Sometimes I shave my legs and sometimes I don't, Sometimes I comb my hair and sometimes I won't, Depend on how the wind blows I might even paint my toes, It really just depends on whatever feels good in my soul". My mantra for today and for all the tomorrows will be to do whatever feels good in my soul. Perhaps that can be your next blog! xoxo =)

  3. Wow...you make the art of moustaching sound so appealing. I will start growing mine out. What do you think my boyfriend will say? He's a hairy bastard...but I find it hard to believe he would enjoy a sasquatch for a girlfriend. What are your thoughts, Amani?

  4. I do apologize for my late response as I have been contemplating my life as a fellow sasquatch. I believe that there are subtle forms of energy emitting from your stache. I do believe that these energies are being used to his advantage. He will grow proserous, not only his hair growing abilities, but his sensitivity as well. If he is feeling insecure about his or your furry face, this common feature will only serve to settle ANXIETY over such a marvelous thing. Be not afraid of your own hair. It has subtle forms of energy to protect you from enemies, such as mosquitoes, harsh cold winds and mean beings. Think of your hair as tiny protein filled shields that will guard you from all forms of harm. It is was has brought you two together afterall. I hope this offers some consolation.
